HO scale television camera

I purchased one of these devices a year ago, and run it off battery power.I understand running off track power creates alternating picture quality.It works great if mounted at a stationary site on your layout. You can watch all of your trains pass the site and view it on your television screen for enjoyment or to check the reality of your HO scale layout.
It also works great mounted in an open HO car as it moves around your layout and you can watch the television screen as other trains pass the train with the camera on it.
It would be a great improvement if the device sounded an alarm when you turn the television or device off, as I left my camera connected several times and drained the battery. I highly recommend this camera,
